Presentation Guidelines

All contributed presentations consist of a 3-minute teaser talk and a digital poster presentation.

Oral Presentations

  • Invited talk 30 minutes (25 min talk + 5 min Q&A)
  • Contributed teaser talk (3 minutes, no Q&A)

Presenters will be utilizing standard audio-visual equipment provided by the venue, including a projection system, a laptop, a laser pointer, and a microphone. Presentation slides should preferably be prepared in Windows compatible PowerPoint format or Adobe PDF format. Speakers are advised to bring their presentations ready on a USB drive and upload the file to the laptop before their session, preferably during a break.

Poster Presentations

The conference will feature seven 60-minute poster sessions, which will also function as Q&A opportunities due to the limited time during the oral presentations.

The posters will be digitally displayed on large monitor screens allowing for a poster presentation in a format comparable to A0 landscape. Each poster presentation has an individual monitor located on the sidewalls of the conference hall where the talks will be given. The poster presentation has to be uploaded before the session to ensure a smooth transition between the oral and the poster presentations. There will be no space for printed posters during the workshop.
